Funeral services for Deborah Foster, 66, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Ezell Nelson officiating.
Deborah Foster was born October 11, 1949 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the daughter of P.D. Crutchfield and Betty (Wiedenmaier) Crutchfield. She died Friday, November 20, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Debbie grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1968. Shortly after graduation, she married John Roger Foster and from this union her son, Christopher, was born.
She owned and operated a local daycare for many years, retiring due to her health.
Debbie enjoyed working in her yard, traveling, visiting relatives, and spending time playing with her nieces and nephews. She was an active member of New Life Christian Church and loved participating in the church activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her son, Christopher Foster; brothers, David Crutchfield of Chickasha and Doug Crutchfield and wife, Joy, of Eufala; nieces and nephews, Casey, Jeffrey, Christy, Craig, and Ryan; and many friends.
Services and interment in Fairlawn Cemetery are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

My name is Cindy Elton and my family lived just a couple of blocks from the Crutchfields in the late 1950’s/early 1960’s. . Debbie and I were very close childhood friends. My brother, Steve Elton, is deaf and went to the Jane Brooks School for the Deaf in Chickasha, where Debbie’s mom was a teacher. It is so uncanny but I was thinking about Debbie today, googled her, and was led to this sad obituary. I couldn’t believe that I thought of her and she had passed away just recently. I am so sorry for your loss, David, Doug, and family.
