Linda Kaye Williams
Linda Kaye Williams was born in Porum, Oklahoma, on November 17, 1951, the daughter of Gentry James Smith and Alta Grace Spradlin Smith. She died Wednesday, October 30, 2013, in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Linda grew up in Porum, Oklahoma, where she attended public schools.
She married Tom Williams on July 28, 1977, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Linda spent most of her life as a baker working in Wal-Mart and Homeland.
She enjoyed working with her house plants and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to the casino with her husband, where she could spend a lot of time playing the penny slot machines.
She was preceded in death by: parents; Gentry James Smith, Alta Spradlin Smith, sister; Jonnie Nell Gerty and niece; Sharon Gerty.
Survivors include: husband; Tom Williams of the home, daughter; Sheila Harmon and husband Tommie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, son; Tom Williams and wife Wendy of Edmond, Oklahoma daughter; Candace Wilson of Chickasha, Oklahoma, brother; James Smith and wife Charlotte of Porum, Oklahoma, brother; Roger Smith of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska, brothers-in-law; Donald Acuff and wife Dorothy of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Orvillie New and wife Patsey of Gore, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Allyson Nakkole Wilson, Kalisa Marie Wilson, Amberlie Shae Williams, Carleigh Ryan Williams, and great granddaughters; Olivia Grace Welch and Peyton Marie Wilson, and stepdaughters; Donna Faircloth, Teresa Wilson and Tammy Godwin all of Florida.
Special thanks to all those at Bradford Village in Edmond, for caring and becoming friends with Linda.
Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
