Marilyn was like a sister to me. She was just a part of our family and we all loved her dearly. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. Her beautiful singing voice will definitely be missed. I grew up wanting to sing like her. My sympathies to Steve and Eddie and the rest of her family.

As my sister, Donna, wrote: Marilyn “was” a real part of our family! She usually spent Sunday afternoon at our home – coming after morning service at church and staying till the Sunday evening service. She and i sang in a trio and my dad would pick up her and Harriette (Holcomb) Malcom and take us to KWCO for our church Radio Broadcast. We sang every week for the broadcast. Marilyn and I left for Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO, together. We have been friends since we were teenagers. She sang at our mother’s funeral service and she sang at mine and Bob’s wedding. I will miss talking to her almost daily. God has a plan for each of us and that plan is to be ready to meet Jesus when He calls us home! Our prayers and sympathy to her entire family.

We are so saddened by the loss of our close friend. We have been friends from days in high school and also college. In fact, her first husband, Buddy, was the one who introduced Leaon and I. We loved spending time with her on our visits to Chickasha. A beautiful woman filled with grace. With her beautiful voice, I feel sure she is singing with the angels in heaven’s choir now. We will always miss her. Our prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

My condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Wilson. The Bible tells us of the future when times like this will be no more and those lost in death will be returned to life. Isaiah 25:8, Rev. 21:4, and John 5:28,29.
