No local services will be held for Cathy Diane LaCasse, 61, of Chickasha.
Cathy Diane LaCasse was born on December 25, 1955 in Fontana, California to Joseph Gilbert Marquez and Priscilla Marion (Costillo) Marquez. She passed away on January 4, 2017 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
She grew up in Simi Valley and Venice, California. Cathy graduated from Simi Valley public schools.
On October 12, 1975, Cathy married David Paul LaCasse .
She returned to school at Concord Community College where she graduated as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She enjoyed working as a traveling nurse for many years.
She came to Chickasha in 2012 to be near her family and retired due to her health. She was also a member of the Christian Center.
She is preceded in death by both parents and her brother, Joey Marquez.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law David Joseph and Melissa LaCasse; sons Jason and Joshua LaCasse; daughter Jennifer Lopez; brothers Donald, Leon and, Vidal (Eddie)Marquez; sisters Joycetta, Marie and Kay Marquez; grandchildren; David, Jr and Micaela LaCasse, Angelica, Alexis, Adriana and Andrew Lopez, Ryan, Kaley, Alyssa and Camrin LaCasse; numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
