A funeral service for Carron Sue Gage, 75, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Ryan Smith officiating and Kim Hayes assisting.

Carron Sue (Kelley) Gage was born July 2, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Robert Junior Kelley and Etta Belle (Pendergraft) Kelley. She passed from this life on Friday, April 26, 2024 at her home in Chickasha, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.

As a young child, Carron moved to Chickasha with her family. She was the oldest of six children. When she was around twelve, she was the Oklahoma Jr. Go-Kart State Champion and has many awards from that time. She graduated from Chickasha High School in 1966.

On April 6, 1968, she married Roy David Gage at the Alex 1st Baptist Church and they shared 56 years together.

Carron was a homemaker for thirteen years and then began a 28-year career at Lifeline Home Health as the Billing Director. She and David attended Sharon Baptist Church for many years. She lived for her children and grandchildren. She spent all year shopping for Christmas, starting on January 1st at the Dillard’s Clearance Sale and continued buying for her family until the Black Friday Sale, taking her daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughter for the big event. She enjoyed taking the entire family for the once-a-year summer vacation. She loved gardening, flowers, and plants. Carron was fiercely loyal to those she loved and she would take care of them. You never had to wonder what she was thinking.

A heartfelt thank you to all the Lifeline Staff, they not only took amazing care of Carron at the end, but they were her coworkers and friends, especially Toye Reynolds and Kelly Nunn.

She was preceded in death by both parents and two sisters Cheryl Cramer and Sharon Hicks.

Loved ones left to remember her are her husband David of the home; daughter Anji Langley of Ada; son and daughter-in-law Jeremy and Heather Gage of Marlow; grandchildren Gage Langley, Bo Gage, Gentri Langley, and Barron Gage; sisters Connie Brown and Charlotte Alexander; brother Buddy Kelley; and other extended family and friends.

A viewing for Carron will be Monday, April 29th from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ferguson Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
