A funeral service for Jason Blaine Stamper, 52, of Cement, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 in the Cement High School Auditorium with Mark Carpenter officiating.

Jason Blaine Stamper was born October 11, 1971 in Chickasha, Oklahoma; he was the son of Jim Wallace Stamper and Dana Lee (Lawrence) Stover. He passed from this life on Monday April 15, 2024 at his home in Cement, Oklahoma.

Jason grew up in Cement and graduated from Cement High School in 1990.

His work in the oilfield took him all over Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. He also worked with his dad laying carpet. He was a man of all trades and was always working on a project whether in his shop, the yard, at the lake or for others. He was a volunteer firefighter for Cement for many years.

In 2002, he married Stephanie Simmons and to this union his two children Aubrey and Jaden were born.

He enjoyed being in his shop with the music blaring, going to the lake and being out on the boat. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, making sure they were happy. He liked going to concerts and enjoyed rock music with a little country thrown in there. He had the biggest heart and was willing to help others. He was full of joy and ready for a good time, always trying to make others laugh with his sarcastic, dark sense of humor and the best one-liners.

He was preceded in death by his father Jim Stamper, mother Dana (Lawrence) Stover, grandmothers Nina (Crickenberger) Lawrence and Alberta (Jarnagin) Stamper, and aunt Doris (Stamper) Huff and many aunts and uncles.

Loved ones left to remember Jason are his daughter Aubrey Stamper Diaz and husband Cody of Cement; son Jaden Stamper of Cement; sister Lindsey (Stamper) Palesano and husband Kris of Chickasha; brother James “Chooch” Stamper and wife Mandi of Rush Springs; four grandchildren Urijah, Daxton, Brixley and a baby boy Diaz who will be here in August; nephews Logan, Kolten, and Kooper Palesano of Chickasha, Danyon Snider and Ayden Stamper of Rush Springs; nieces Kaelyn and Jacie Stamper of Rush Springs; one great-nephew Zeplin Snider of Rush Springs; and many other extended family and friends.

Viewing for Jason will be at Ferguson Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18th from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, east of Cement, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
