A celebration of life for Judith Kay Seward, 80, of Tuttle will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Tuttle Primitive Baptist Church, 605 S.W. First Street, Tuttle, Oklahoma, with Elder Brad Wynn officiating.

Judith Kay Seward was born November 2, 1943, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of J.B. Wilson and Beulah Bernice Bausman Wilson. Judith was proudly born a member of the Cherokee tribe.  She entered her Heavenly Home on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at her residence in Tuttle.

Judith grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Southeast High School. During her sophomore year of high school, she moved to Grants, New Mexico with her family and graduated from Grants High School in 1961. The greatest gifts in Judith’s life were her four children – Debbie, Michael, Bryan (her favorite), and Melissa.  Judith was employed with UPS and the Veteran Administration Hospital before she transferred to Federal Aviation Administration as a flight procedure specialist where she worked for over twenty years and retired in 2011. Judith showed her strength and endurance through a battle with lung cancer which she won and was a proud survivor.  In Judith’s younger years, she enjoyed riding horses, dancing, and traveling. Later in life, Judith enjoyed going to the casino where she would lovingly keep anyone that went with her longer than they expected.  Judith also enjoyed spending time with friends and family, eating and laughing together.  Judith was a classy lady and would not leave her house without having her jewelry on with her hair and makeup done.  Judith adored her animals who never left her side. Judith was “Mom” or “Memaw” to anyone who walked through her door and made sure everyone left her presence feeling more loved than when they arrived.

Judith was preceded in death by both parents; grandparents John and Parlea (Pauline) Bausman and Walden and Flora Wilson; granddaughter Brandy Bozarth; Favorite Son-in-law Bill Bennett, and Aunts Juanita Morris and Maxine Englund
